What overall positive changes in your health and well-being have you noticed since starting the program?
I used to have stomachaches and digestive issues all the time, and I really didn’t know what to eat. Now I have control over them- I know what foods trigger them and I rarely get them anymore. I sleep better now and jump right out of bed every morning. I have tons of energy & endurance that never goes away. My elbow is now pain-free and carpal tunnel is gone. The pain in my shoulder is much better and I’m able to disc golf now without many problems. When I stop doing what Megan taught me, the pain does come back though. We were able to identify my skin problems as contact dermatitis, and it’s much less noticeable than it used to be. I know how to cook great foods now and love cooking together with my girlfriend.

 

How would you describe me as a health counselor?
The best!!! You’re really good at it, and have great information. The renewal program was my favorite, when we focused in depth on each individual food and what it does.

            ​"Before Megan, I was having 3-5 stomachaches a day. That was until she taught me about my food allergies. Since the 9th grade, I've had "splotches" that cover the skin on my stomach and chest. She was able to identify it, and recommended many remedies. Some of these remedies also help the inflammation I have in my shoulder.

            I didn't expect much from the health counseling at first, but Megan has truly changed my life. I have never had so much energy, and have never been so happy. Thank you Megan."

Improved self-esteem, ability to control sugar cravings, no issues with acid reflux.

What tangible results have you seen?
Higher energy level, better food choices, eating more/different vegetables, drinking less diet soda, staying away from Splenda completely, better self-esteem and feel happier, better understanding of cravings, experiment with new foods so I don’t get bored, better stress control, understanding the effects of food additives, acid reflux under control, allergy headaches better than normal.

What overall positive changes in your health and well-being have you noticed since starting the program?
Sleep is much better; stomachaches & diarrhea are at a minimum now. My blood sugar is under control ( I can eat when I feel hungry now vs eating when my blood sugar drops), I’ve lost about 2 pants sizes, and the yeast problem is under control. I’m cooking more, eating more dark greens & lean protein, doing healthier shopping, and enjoying my new foods. I don’t worry so much any more about the belly aches ruling my life.  My fibromyalgia symptoms are better (less achy feelings, morning stiffness gone), my stress management is better, and I have clearer thinking.

        "I'm so glad I decided to sign up for sessions with Megan. A lot of digestive issues over the last few years have caused me to be very cautious in what I eat; so much so that my diet lacked variety and basic nutrition. At the grocery store my shopping cart would basically be filled with frozen dinners and canned soups.

Sugar addiction is under control. Have lost 5 pounds. Have been making better food choices and cooking more. Reading labels a lot closer now. Learning it’s ok to take time for myself.  I’m working on my relationship with my husband and know what I need to do to improve it.

What tangible results have you seen?
I’ve lost weight. I’m cooking more frequently and when dining out making better choices. Been buying more organic produce and better grains and breads. My kids are now making better choices on their own by watching what I do, and none of us are craving sugar any more.  I’m learning how to have time for myself. My digestion is regular now, and my foot pain is gone.

I now crave fruits & vegetables instead of sugar & carbs (wow!), got rid of soda and drink more water, less stress, I’ve really improved relationships with my family, decided on a new career path, getting in touch with my spiritual side and trying yoga. Not dwelling on things as much anymore and know how to relieve my stress effectively. I’m cooking healthy home-cooked meals now and controlling my portions.

I’ve lost weight and know that I have all the tools I need to keep losing weight. My stress eating is much more under control, joints are better, and less inflammation. My energy is bursting, yet consistent & controlled and put to good use.
